The Manaslu region is located in the central part of Nepal, east of the Annapurna region, to which it is connected. It was opened to tourists in 1992 and is still a restricted area, which makes it a more exclusive and pristine destination, compared to other regions.
Manaslu region is visually spectacular and culturally fascinating. It comprises of a very diverse geography, from sub tropical lands to ridges, traditional villages, valleys, glaciers and it culminates in Manaslu Peak, the 8th highest mountain in the world, surrounded by Ngadi Chuli, Himalchuli and Baudha. Manaslu Circuit Trek and Tsum Valley Trek are some of the most popular trekking routes of this region.View Map
